King Conan – A Sequel to Conan the Barbarian and Conan the Destroyer [Concept Trailer]

A fan-made trailer for King Conan, an unofficial sequel to Conan the Barbarian and Conan the Destroyer by The Buff Dudes! And yes, that is truly the face of Arnold Schwarzenegger you see in there, inserted in the trailer via the power of deepfake technology by VFX artist Shamook. I love that they used sequences of Arnold’s face when he was 40, and also other more recent samples of him being around 70.

Having long grown bored with the crown, Conan finds conflicted appreciation in his many children and their violent attempts to usurp him. Outnumbered, he knows he must form uneasy alliances with a handful of the offspring who are willing; contending with the guilt and resentment of an absentee father and the ambiguous children who allege to fight by his side. Betrayal and revelations engulf the land as Conan heals old wounds and opens new ones, finally discovering what it truly means…to be king.
