Artist Creates Gigantic “Life-Sized” 15,000-Pound Steel Dragon Statue from Game of Thrones

Kevin Stone, a highly skilled metal sculptor based in Chilliwack, British Columbia, has crafted truly extraordinary creations. His artistic talents have been sought after by clients from all corners of the globe, including the renowned Dolly Parton, for whom he designed and welded a giant 41-feet steel eagle sculpture for her theme park, Dollywood.

Recently, the team from Coolest Thing had the opportunity to visit Kevin in his workshop to marvel at some of his amazing works, including his pièce de résistance: a gargantuan 15,000-pound dragon sculpture that breathes fire, inspired by the popular television show Game of Thrones. It took Kevin a painstaking two years to complete this remarkable masterpiece.

Check out the video below for more shots of the dragon and some of Kevin’s other incredible chef d’oeuvres.
