LEGO creator Daniel Metcalf submitted yesterday the most amazing LEGO idea ever: a Princess Bride themed collection. It should include everything from the main characters to R.O.U.S. It would be set at the Guilder Frontier, now legendary for Inigo Montoya’s duel with the man in black.
To make this set possible, Metcalf needs it to be approved by 10 000 on the LEGO ideas page. As of now, almost 6 000 people have supported his project.
When asked the reasons guiding this project, Metcalf wrote :
The Princess Bride is loved by many people, including me, and I have always wanted to see it in LEGO. As no set emerged, I took it upon myself to create the best set of it that I could through LEGO IDEAS. After a few months of pondering, I started the actual building process, and have tried my best to do the classic justice.
