Redditor ejchristian86 spend the last 6 months making what has to be one of the most gorgeous Legend of Zelda quilts I’ve seen for her husband’s 40th birthday. I asked her a little more details about how she made it, and here’s what she replied:
It took me about 6 months to make, working in secret when my husband wasn’t home. I used something like 30 colors of cotton fabric, and the back is lined in a Link and Zelda print flannel (pictured below) for extra warmth. I drew my inspiration from various pixel sprites, made a scaled down version in photoshop of what I wanted the final piece to look like and then used that as a map.
