James Cameron is tired of the Avengers franchise, stating last year that he hopes people will get “Avengers fatigue” soon. However, this did not prevent the man from sending a message to Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios congratulating them on beating Titanic and Avatar’s previous 2-billion-dollar box office records.
Avengers: Endgame is now the fastest film ever to go over the 2 billion dollars mark at the box office. As I’m writing this, it sits just a little behind Avatar in worldwide box office gross ($2.18 billion vs. $2.78 billion,) but I’m sure Endgame will go over that in a few weeks.
