The HRP-5P looks a bit like ATLAS from Boston Dynamics, but the humanoid robot was built by Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) to install drywall. Weighing in at 222 pounds, this thing can pick up and install drywall just like a regular construction worker. It might be a little slow for now, but I don’t think it’ll be very long until these things go faster than us. Scary.
