…And the winner is, Hugh Jackman. Found this on Reddit today with some interesting commentary about how the Logan movie plays out very much like the Last of Us, minus the clickers. Hugh has the grizzled and battered appearance of Joel, and the angst he brings to the Logan character (especially in this newest film) would fit perfectly with the “dead inside but slowly coming back-to-life because of a little girl’s purity” vibe that both Joel and Logan carry with them.
Listen up, Hollywood. Reddit is pretty smart about this kind of stuff and about 30,000 people seem to agree with the idea, so might be worth considering.
