3D-Printed Tiny Mountain Rings are Created Using NASA’s Elevation Mapping Data

ring1

For the love of cartography! Portland, Oregon-based design studio Waaypoint have created a series of beautiful jewelry using elevation mapping data from NASA. Their rings and pendants are modeled after mountainous regions located on our beautiful planet!

Only one “mountainous” ring is available for purchase right now, and this one was created in the image of Mt. Hood, a mountain located near the company’s headquarters.

All their jewelry are 3D-printed and then covered in silver, plated rose gold, or plated 18k gold. Look at how beautiful they are!

And they have pendants too!

To keep up with Waaypoint, be sure to Follow them on Instagram to keep up with their new products.
