New Harry Potter E-Books Compile Pottermore Stories

Three new Harry Potter books are on the way. They’ll be collections of short pieces from the Pottermore website and sold as low-priced e-books.

The Pottermore Presents series will combine archive material from the site along with new writing from JK Rowling:

• Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide is a collection of pieces about the school and how it works.
• Short Stories from Hogwarts of Power, Political and Pesky Poltergeists is about the darker side of wizardry and includes a new Rowling piece about Horace Slughorn.
• Short Stories from Hogwarts of Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies is about the staff and includes a new Rowling piece about Minerva McGonagall.

The books are described as bite-size collections and will be available from most major e-Book retailers around the world. The US release is September 6 with each volume costing $2.99.
