WANT: Celestial Fireworks LED Bracelet

Thinkgeek has just released this gorgeous LED bracelet, which features the Celestial Fireworks captured by NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope.

This Celestial Fireworks Bracelet celebrates a spectacular image captured by NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope of Westerlund 2, a cluster in the constellation Carina. (It’s 20,000 light years away, so this image really is that old.) On its own, it’s a gorgeous image, but we’ve highlighted the young star cluster’s sparkle by adding 15 tiny twinkling white LED lights to represent more foreground stars. They’re powered by a rechargeable battery; the hinged bangle ships with a proprietary USB charging cable to keep it entwinkling. But there’s an on/off button, too, in case you prefer it dark. Either way, it’s a fabulous tribute to the magnificence that is space and mankind’s exploration of it.
