I’m sure you’ve all seen Franky Zapata’s water-powered flyboards in action on the web, but now, the man is testing a device that works as an actual hoverboard.
Zapata Racing has achieved the dream of mankind and offers you the first video of Franky Zapata flying on the innovation Flyboard® Air.
The Independent Propulsion Unit represents 4 years of hard work for a result exceeding all records:
– Autonomous flight up to 10,000 feet
– Top speed of 150km/h (93,2 mph)
– 10 min autonomy
I’m not all that sure about those specs though. I don’t think I’d be willing to ride that thing 10,000 feet in the air at 150km/h with an autonomy of just 10 minutes. It sounds awfully dangerous.
