An IndieGogo project aimed to raise funding for a series of three-dimensional recreations of famous artworks so that blind and visually impaired people could get some sense of their appearance. The campaign “failed” by only reaching 14 percent of its funding total, though the flexible funding setup means the makers will still receive the money and deliver the goods.
