Warner Bros is to produce a biographical drama titled SAGAN about the astronomer and host of Cosmos: A Personal Voyage who died in 1996.
The Tracking Board site broke the news of the movie. The production staff will include Lynda Obst, who worked on last year’s Interstellar (which attempted to maintain scientific credibility to debatable effect.) Meanwhile Sagan’s widow Ann Druyan will be a producer.
There’s no word yet on casting or a potential release date.
