They call him the “Samurai Guitarist” and he can rip and shred with the best of them. His actual name is Steven Onotera, and he is a Winnipeg based guitarist who tears it up for his YouTube channel to help bring shredding to the masses.
In this case, he gives us a stellar cover of the Daft Punk song that too many people mistake for a Kanye West song simply because he borrowed the hook. “Harder, better, faster, stronger.” The good news, with a spoon and some sick riffage, Onotera makes it all his own.
The irony will be when Kanye wants to sample this, too.
