For those attending NYCC this year, there’s a large “Cosplay is not Consent” sign greeting people as they enter the con. The sign says:
Please keep your hands to yourself. If you would like to take a picture with or of another NYCC fan, always ask first and respect that person’s right to say no. When at New York Comic Con, be respectful, be nice, be cool and be kind to each other.
If you are at the convention and are victim of harassment, you can easily report what happened through the NYCC app.
Unfortunately, I was not able to obtain a press pass for NYCC this year, but Rich from Aggressive Comics will be there to take photos for us.
