Now, admittedly, I never got on the Frozen train. I’ve seen it once and only once and have been able to successfully move on with my life. (I’m more of a Tangled girl, personally.)
But for those of you ladies obsessed with the film — especially those of you planning weddings — Disney has partnered with gown designer Alfred Angelo to create an Elsa-inspired wedding gown.
The result is an ice blue softly-flared sheath gown with a sweetheart neckline made with layers of satin, tulle, glitter net and organza. All-over beading in swirling patterns cover the gown so it shimmers like Elsa’s so very treasured fresh-fallen snow. A Watteau train, a classic style that drapes from the shoulders to the floor, adds a finishing touch and “captures Elsa’s regal appearance and her bold personality,” notes Alfred Angelo’s Chief Creative Officer Michele Piccione.
The dress will be available in both ivory and ice blue on the Alfred Angelo website in January 2015.
