The Ghostbusters Fairground Ride That Never Was [Link]

The Atari fan site 2600 connection has a lengthy interview with former Atari bigwig Roger Hector. It’s got dozens of pictures and details of some of the devices he worked on, such as two-sided arcade consoles, hologram games and a truly bafflingly-looking pro football coaching handheld game. The highlight though is an extensive look at unrealised plans for Six Flags to have a Ghostbusters-themed version of its Hauntington Hotel ride in which players would score by shooting ghosts, some of which would be optical illusions.
