Ben & Jerry’s Creates ‘Saturday Night Live’-Themed Flavors!

Saturday Night Live turns 40 next year, and to kick-off the celebration a little bit early, ice creamery Ben & Jerry’s has released SNL-themed ice creams.

According to The Huffington Post:

Lazy Sunday is based on the sketch of the same name that features comedians Andy Samberg and Chris Parnell professing their love for cupcakes. Appropriately, the flavor features both chocolate and yellow cupcake pieces. Ben & Jerry’s website notes that the flavor also features a vanilla cake batter base and “a chocolate frosting swirl. Gilly’s Catastrophic Crunch has both chocolate and sweet cream ice cream mixed with caramel clusters, fudge-covered almonds, and a marshmallow swirl. The flavor is inspired by the SNL character made famous by actress Kristen Wiig.

Unfortunately, the SNL flavors are only available at the Ben & Jerry’s shops — not sold in stories in the pint containers. Two more SNL-themed flavors will be released later this year.
