Now, before you freak out about how less-than-awesome Prometheus may or may not have been, allow me to clarify:
Screenwriter Jon Spaihts wrote the early draft for the film — a draft that later got rewritten by Damon Lindelof. Spaihts has also been hired to write the reboot for The Mummy (which I don’t think anyone asked for) and the script for The Black Hole, which may or may not be a remake of the Disney film from 1979 (but given Hollywood’s penchant for sequels, prequels, remakes, and reboots…it probably is).
No word yet on whether Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hardy, or Jared Leto will play the title role.
