Disney to Launch ‘Disney Infinity Marvel Superheroes’ [PICS]

On Wednesday, Disney announced that Marvel’s Avengers will be next in line for its Disney Infinity game series.

There will eventually be over 18 figures, along with additional Disney-centric content. The first Disney Infinity will also be compatible with the new Marvel one.

The starter kit comes with three figures, the Avengers’ playset piece, and a pair of Toy Box game discs. Toy Box games, new for the second phase, use game assets to create new experiences based on existing game genres — tower defense and dungeon crawlers were mentioned. 

Also, according to Kotaku, “all new and existing characters will be able to reach level 20, and a new upgrade tree system will give players some choice in how they progress.”

Disney Infinity Marvel Superheroes will arrive this fall and will be available for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, and for iOS and PC.
