Ridley Scott’s 1982 masterpiece Blade Runner is already noir — neo-noir, to be more specific.
So to Chet Desmond, creating a trailer in the original 1940s black-and-white noir style made sense. Desmond says he isn’t trying to re-imagine the film, but rather “take those aspects of the film and accentuate them into something hopefully interesting.”
