Back in 1513, Francois I, the newly crowned King of France, was presented with this awesome mechanical lion designed by Leonardo Da Vinci. Unfortunately, the lion automaton does not exist anymore, but the plans still do, so someone reconstructed it in 2009. Here’s a video of the beast moving.
