It’s easy to see here why Ashton Kutcher was cast to play Steve Jobs. Way back in 1978, Steve was a young (hirsute!) guy just beginning to see the first hints of success. Though the actual interview Steve is prepping for here is no longer available, the timing suggests that he was invited to talk about the original Apple II. The Apple II Plus would release the next year, and Jobs would be well on his way to becoming the confident guy we remember seeing on camera.
