The city of Leeds in England is repainting all its red phone boxes a TARDIS blue, outfitting them with touchscreens, and transforming them into Wi-Fi hubs.
As for the trend hitting London? No dice. The company doing them — aql — says they want the TARDIS-inspired phone boxes to be unique and iconic to only Leeds.
