University of Chicago Receives Package for Indiana Jones! [Pics]

The University of Chicago Admissions Department took pause  on Wednesday, when they received a package addressed to none other than Dr. Henry Walton Jones Jr.

The package actually contained a “detailed replica of Dr. Abner Ravenwood’s journal from Raiders of the Lost Ark, photos of Marion Ravenwood, and replica money, most of it made by hand.”

Interesting Note: The university’s Admissions Department is now housed in Rosenwald Hall, which used to house the school’s geography and geology departments.

The university is looking for any leads as to the prankster(s). I hope they want to award them the Key to the City or something, because this was awesome.

(And yes, I know “Illinois” is spelled incorrectly, but I like to think this was done “on purpose”, because the package DID come from Egypt, darn it, or somewhere else exotic and English is not the sender’s primary language. :)
