Xenomorph Test Footage Even Creepier Than It Should Be [Video]

I recently re-watched Alien and it never occurred to me that there was an actual man behind the xenomorph mask, so to speak. Much like Candyman or Jason or Freddy or Pinhead or even Predator, sometimes we forget — or at least I do — that even if you can’t see the actor’s face or if the face has been altered so much by makeup so as to look unrecognizable on the street, there’s STILL an actor in there.

This test footage shows Bolaji Badejo, the 7-foot-2-inch tall Nigerian design student whom Ridley Scott handpicked while in a bar, donning the xenomorph mask and learning how he should move as the alien.

Even wearing nothing but the headpiece and a pair of black briefs, Badejo is still terrifying…perhaps even more so.
