Director/actor Michael Dorn – known as “Worf” to his loyal “Star Trek” followers – has created a Kickstarter for his next project, “Through the Fire”.
Dubbed a “new film created by and starring Star Trek actors”, Dorn helms the romantic comedy “about a couple of dazzling New York urbanites who are set-up on the worst blind date ever, only to find out they have more in common than they realize,” despite their professional differences.
The film also involves or features his fellow “Star Trek” actors, like Marina Sirtis, Anne-Marie Johnson, Nana Visitor, Armin Shimerman, and Kitty Swink.
Dorn also hopes to “show the the people who run Hollywood that “sci-fi” fans are not only interested in science fiction, but are multidimensional and a force to be reckoned with.”
