This list over at Gamma Squad is pretty good. “The Rocketeer” was an amazing movie, and I’d love to see what could be done with the concept with a huge budget. Something I’d never considered before, though: Dick Tracy. Yes. Get some weird, dark-minded director, a Nicolas Winding Refn or some other David Lynch-type to really bring out the bizarre in the thing. That could really work. Full list here.
