We’ve all come to know and love our favorite brand logos. Nike, Apple, Logitech, Motorola, whatever. It’s almost like they’ve been around so long that you don’t actually recognise them as company insignia anymore, but rather as proofs of quality and authenticity.
Logos undergo drastic changes as much as their respective companies. They are changed to reflect some sort of overhaul or improvement within the corporation. If you’re like me then you’ve probably wondered what went into creating some of these memorable symbols. Who were they designed by? What do they represent? What came before the current ones?
This neat article features some intesting backstories on the featured companies and their logos. The history behind Apple and Google seem to be the most interesting. With Apple’s featuring stuff I didn’t know even after watching Pirates of Silicon Valley.
