The classic Parker Brothers board game is getting a makeover…and one of the iconic pieces MUST GO!
Monopoly is letting YOU vote for which piece goes…and which new piece will take its place.
I’m a little confused as to where the guitar and the robot fit in, but that ‘copter would be a lot of fun to fly around the board, complete with sound effects.
And let’s be honest: Does ANYONE ever choose the wheelbarrow?!
You can vote daily here.

We all know that there’s a stereotype that people of Asian descent are better at maths. We also know it’s not necessarily true, but, of course, stereotypes are born from at least a seed of truth. Perhaps there is a reason that this seed exists: the Japanese, at least, have more awesome ways of figuring out multiplication.
The picture above doesn’t really make much sense on first glance, but when you find out how it works – your mind will be blown.
Basically, you take your first number and draw a group of lines corresponding to each number parallel to each other – so if it’s 21, for example, you draw a group of two lines and then further along, but still parallel, you draw one line. Then you take the second number and do the same thing, but crossing the other group. You then count up the intersections in each group and voila – you get your answer.
Here’s a nifty video that shows you how it works – and how it works for higher numbers as well.
This is way better than the long multiplication I was taught in high school. And University. Now can we make this work for division?

Back in May of last year, CD Projekt RED – creators of the “Witcher” franchise – announced they were creating a game based on the “Cyberpunk 2077” table top game.
Under the tagline “Coming: When It’s Ready,” no official date has been announced, but an awesome teaser has just been released, and holy crap, people, I’m willing to wait for this game. And I’m not even a gamer. The official description follows.
“The teaser shows how the Psycho Squad might acquire a new member.
The Psycho Squad specializes in combating “psychos” — individuals who overuse implants and substances that boost or otherwise alter the human body.
There comes a point when they overdose on these innovations, and their bodies start to rebel against their biological body parts as well as all things organic around them. Simply put, they start killing people, who they now derisively call “meatbags.”
When a psycho goes on the rampage, strange things can happen. There’s carnage, and the psycho might be taken down by regular police, but they’re not always able to get the job done.
When things spin out of control, they call in MAX-TAC (Maximum Force Tactical Division), popularly called the Psycho Squad.”

…not Gandalf.
The huge winter storm that was wreaking havoc on the northern plains of the U.S. last week was NOT a misspelling of the Grey Wizard’s name or the news industry’s attempt to be “relevant”. In fact, the name “Gandolf” is the character from an 1896 fantasy novel by William Morris called The Well at the World’s End.
And now you know!
