Natural History Museum [Video]

Have you ever wondered if Neanderthals imagined their role in our lives, that they would be examples of the distant past? They probably had more important things to worry about, like survival. So maybe we can imagine our own roles as teachers of the past for the humans of the distant future. Animator Kirsten Lepore does just that in a video that takes place in the same museum, but in different time periods.

Sony’s Playstation 5 to Be Released in 2020

Sony has just announced the official release date for the PS5: The holiday season of 2020. They also unveiled a few technical details about the upcoming gaming console: It will support 4K TV, will come with a SSD made specifically for gaming, almost eliminating all loading time, and will feature USB-C connectors. The Dualshock 5 controller will no longer have rumble technology and will instead feature haptics (like in an iPhone) for more “nuanced physical sensations.”

Ray-tracing acceleration in the GPU hardware … solid-state drive … 4K Bluray … an unlabeled matte-black doohickey that looks an awful lot like the PS4’s DualShock 4 … an improved speaker on the controller, the haptics … me really excited

Please note that the picture above is a mockup of the NDA-covered dev kit as commissioned by LetsGoDigital. We still do not know what the console will look like!
