To celebrate Halo: Campaign Evolved, Finnish vocal ensemble Munx Gregoriana performed a haunting a cappella version of Martin O’Donnell’s iconic theme inside Oil Silo 468 in Helsinki, Finland. The massive former oil tank is famous for its almost supernatural echo, and it turns the performance into something that sounds less like a video game soundtrack and more like an ancient, sacred ritual.
Turn up the volume and prepare for some absolutely ridiculous reverb.
