If you’ve ever watched a robot dog and thought, “That’s cool, but can it drift, climb a mountain, and breakdance?” Unitree apparently took that as a challenge.
The company has unveiled the Super Athlete AS2-W, a robotic dog that combines legs and wheels to tackle just about any terrain. It zips across flat ground, climbs stairs, rolls over gravel, powers up steep hills, and steps over obstacles that would leave most robots stuck. It can even carry your gear for long outdoor adventures, making it feel less like a gadget and more like the world’s most overqualified hiking buddy.
Of course, this being 2026, it also has AI, cameras, and enough brains to follow you around on its own.
And because simply conquering every terrain wasn’t enough… it can breakdance.
Check out the video below. Between this and humanoid robots, we’re getting dangerously close to having to apologize to our future robotic overlords.
