What happens when an engineer decides they need a duet partner… and builds one? That’s exactly what Dylan Delirium did, creating a singing robot that performs alongside him on guitar. With its expressive eyes and surprisingly warm vocoder-style voice, the mechanical vocalist delivers awesome renditions of Somewhere Over the Rainbow, God Only Knows, and Fake Plastic Trees. It’s equal parts impressive engineering, musical performance, and just a little bit uncanny, in the best possible way.
