HBO Max just dropped the first teaser trailer for Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, a spinoff nobody saw coming where comic shop owner Stuart Bloom somehow ends up at the center of a multiverse apocalypse caused by Sheldon and Leonard’s science experiments going horribly wrong.
Yes, the fate of reality is now in Stuart’s hands. What could possibly go wrong?
Turns out: absolutely everything.
Kevin Sussman returns as Stuart alongside Lauren Lapkus, Brian Posehn, and John Ross Bowie, with the trailer teasing alternate-universe versions of familiar TBBT characters, zombie-like timelines, wormholes, and complete sci-fi insanity.
Honestly, this might be the strangest way to continue The Big Bang Theory franchise.
