Steven Spielberg’s New Disclosure Day Trailer Teases Humanity’s Biggest Secret

What if the biggest secret in human history was about to drop… all at once? That’s the premise behind the new trailer for Disclosure Day, the upcoming sci-fi blockbuster from Steven Spielberg, and judging by the footage, humanity might finally be getting confirmation that we’re not alone in the universe.

The film follows powerful forces scrambling to keep a decades-long extraterrestrial cover-up under wraps. Unfortunately for them, the aliens may have other plans, and some humans are ready to spill the cosmic beans too. The trailer leans hard into that classic Spielberg mix of awe, mystery, and “uh-oh, humanity might not be ready for this.”

Adding even more goosebumps to the whole thing, legendary composer John Williams came out of retirement to score the film for Spielberg. If that doesn’t scream big cinematic moment, nothing does.

According to the official synopsis from Universal Pictures, the movie asks a simple but terrifying question: If someone proved we weren’t alone… would you actually want to know?

One thing is certain: on June 12, 2026, the truth apparently belongs to seven billion people. And judging by the trailer, it’s arriving whether humanity is ready or not.
