What if a bike… didn’t have wheels?
James Bruton just built a self-balancing machine that rides on one giant ball and somehow moves in any direction. Forward, backward, sideways. It can even spin in place.
The secret? Three heavy-duty custom omni wheels (featuring 216 bearings), powerful brushless motors, smart control electronics, and a whole lot of engineering courage. It constantly balances in two axes at once, adjusting hundreds of times per second just to keep the rider upright. Check it out!
