LEGO once made a gorgeous typewriter set… but it couldn’t actually type. So naturally, someone looked at that limitation and said, “Fine, I’ll do it myself.” The result is a super clever, fully functional LEGO typewriter that doesn’t use ink at all. Instead, each key dispenses tiny LEGO alphabet tiles, sends them sliding down ramps, rotates them into position, and physically stamps them onto rolling white plates that act as paper.
To cap it all off, Koenkun even types a letter back to LEGO using the machine they never quite finished. Check it out!
