Somewhere deep in an ancient ruin, a dramatic theme music cue just started playing. Amazon MGM Studios has officially begun production on Prime Video’s upcoming Tomb Raider series, and the first-look image of Sophie Turner as Lara Croft makes it very clear they understood the assignment.

The newly released photo marks Turner’s first appearance as the iconic adventurer, and the classic Tomb Raider energy is totally there. The green top, brown shorts, red-tinted sunglasses, and side holsters look like they were lifted straight out of the games. The live-action series, officially titled Tomb Raider, is produced by Amazon MGM Studios in partnership with Story Kitchen and Crystal Dynamics.

Turner, best known for her role on Game of Thrones, landed the part after a lengthy and competitive casting process. Judging by this first image, the end result looks promising. If Lara Croft is supposed to feel like she’s one bad jump away from disaster at all times, this version already feels right at home.
