Fallout Season 2 Debuts With a Perfect 100% Rotten Tomatoes Score

Fallout Season 2

Fallout Season 2 has barely cracked open its Vault door and it’s already flexing a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes (based on early critic reviews). That’s right: somehow, Prime Video took a season that already scored an impressive 93% and said, “Okay, but what if we cranked the radiation up?”

Early critics are calling Season 2 darker, more violent, and even funnier than before, which in Fallout terms is basically the holy trinity. Here is the official synopsis for season 2:

“Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. Two-hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them.”

And because Prime Video clearly wants to spread some radioactive cheer during the holidays, Season 2 is dropping earlier than planned, starting today, December 16 at 6 PM PT, with weekly episodes carrying us straight into February 2026.
