McDonald’s Released a TERRIBLE AI-generated Christmas ad

It’s hard to believe it’s real, and I don’t mean the uncanny, wax-museum-meets-dream-sequence visuals. I mean the fact that someone at McDonald’s actually approved this thing. Their new Christmas ad is a bleak AI-generated nightmare where the holiday spirit goes to die behind a soft-focus lens and a vat of digital uncanny sauce.

The theme? Apparently, Christmas sucks.

McDonald’s reportedly wanted the opposite of warm-and-fuzzy: they wanted “slush, grit, and bleakness.” And based on the final product, the only way that happened was through psychological warfare against the AI until it surrendered a properly dreadful December.

Think of it as the Grinch meets Black Mirror, but without the charm of either. Check it out:
