The holidays are here again, which means Montreal Comiccon has officially transformed into the only place on Earth where you can watch Darth Vader force-chocking an elf, horror villains wearing festive outfits, and at least three Deadpools mocking everything that is sacred about the merriest season of the year.

This year’s Holiday Edition blasted the Montreal Convention Centre with so much glitter the janitorial staff is still filing trauma reports. Heroes rocked Santa hats like festive fashion icons, while villains spent the whole day pretending they totally deserve a Christmas present this year. Sure, guys. Sure.

And of course, we were there, camera in hand, prepared to capture every glitter-fueled creation the con unleashed. If it sparkled, jingled, or looked like it might aggressively wish us “Happy Holidays,” it’s in the gallery. We also snapped some regular cosplays too: those courageous souls who showed up without a single ornament attached. Bold move, honestly.
