If you’ve ever seen an Airstream gliding down the highway, shiny, sleek, and shaped like something NASA might’ve launched, you’ve probably wondered: How do they make those things?
This video takes you inside Airstream’s 725,000+ sq. ft. production facility in Jackson Center, Ohio, where over a thousand skilled craftspeople hand-build each trailer from the outside in. And when they say “hand-built,” they really mean it: every single rivet (and there are thousands of them!) is set manually by teams working in perfect sync.
It’s a fascinating look at the precision, pride, and craftsmanship poured into these RVs, and it’s exactly why they last for generations.
And I’ll be honest: owning an Airstream has always been one of my dreams… but with the price tags they carry, it’ll probably stay a dream for me. Still, a geek can dream, right?
