Daft Punk fans, rejoice… just not too much!

The legendary duo has dropped a brand-new animated music video for “Contact”, the closing track from their 2013 masterpiece Random Access Memories. But before you start dreaming of a reunion, remember: Daft Punk officially disbanded in 2021 and aren’t making new music.

This music video comes from their collaboration with Fortnite and Magnopus on the Daft Punk Experience, an immersive celebration of their sound and visuals. The sequence, originally crafted as the intro to the Experience, was so impressive, they turned it into a full-fledged music video.

It’s not a comeback, but it is a beautiful reminder of why their music and aesthetic remain light-years ahead of everyone else. Check it out!
