Marvel just dropped not one, but two teasers for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and things are heating up fast… cosmically and awkwardly!
In the first teaser, the team is brought before none other than Galactus, thanks to the Silver Surfer. But this time, it’s not Earth he wants to eat, he wants Franklin Richards, the son of Reed and Sue! Galactus looms in shadow, menacing and mysterious, before stepping out onto our world in full force. Reed faces the press and declares that giving up his son is a price too high.
Meanwhile, the second teaser serves up a very different vibe. Enter Johnny Storm, Human Torch in all his fiery glory, trying to flirt with the Silver Surfer. “Is your board attached to your body?” he asks. Unsurprisingly, it doesn’t go very well. Julia Garner’s icy-cool Shalla-Bal Surfer is not here for Johnny’s pick-up lines.
