Family-oriented Christmas movies are nice, but I largely prefer those that have a little dark comedy intertwined inside them. In Fatman, Mel Gibson plays the role of Chris Cringle (aka Santa Claus), who is forced into a partnershop with the U.S. military to save his declining business. At the same time, a 12-year-old brat who received a lump of coal the previous year, hires an assassin (Walton Goggins) to kill him.
‘Tis the season for Fatman to get even, in the action-comedy that keeps on giving.
