Tesla Car Arcade Hands-On: The Model 3 is Your New Video Game Console

The $35,000 Tesla Model 3 was released last year, but starting this week, owners now have access to a non-hidden “Arcade” mode on the car’s center-mounted LCD touchscreen. There’s just a few games available so far with classics such as Pong, Missile Command, and Asteroid, but also newer titles such as a special edition of Beach Buggy Racing 2, a Mario Kart-style race game that uses the car’s Steering wheel and break to control the vehicle in-game. Naturally, games can only be played while the car is not in function. Here is a short demo video from The Verge showing us how the arcade mode works.
