Unfortunately, this Sega Genesis Megatron isn’t a functioning console, but it still looks pretty awesome anyways. Cramming a miniature version of the Genesis in there shouldn’t be too difficult for a manufacturer, but I guess it would really bring the price up!

Reservations for the TakaraTomy online shop exclusive Sega Genesis Megatron are welcome to ship in mid-late February 2105. Unlike the recently released MegaDrive Megatron, the upcoming rendition of the Destron faction leader features the ‘Genesis’ logo emblazoned across his chest and is packaged with a miniature rendition of the Sega Gensis Sonic the Hedgehog cartridge. This item is limited to 1,000 units produced only.
