It seems that The cyberpunk subgenre was a bit forgotten by movie directors in the past decade, but thanks to a new independent film, things are about to change. Set in Paris, France, in 2047, “Virtual Revolution” describes a dystopia where 75% of the population spend all their time online, in virtual worlds, leaving reality to a small minority. “The revolution did happen. Just not the way people thought it would”.
