As I’m writing this, Neill Blomkamp just announced 38 minutes ago on Twitter and Instagram that Alien would be his next movie. Unfortunately, he didn’t get into too much details, but hey, I think this is great news… unless we’re talking about a reboot, right?

Edit: Apparently, the film is in no way related to the upcoming “Prometheus” sequel, which will still be directed by Ridley Scott.
